Aakanksha Shankar is an autodidactic artist and co-founder of Bulbuli Handcrafted India.She is known for her art skills and her signature designs of pencrafting & bands of joy. An entrepreneur, artist, author of Art Speaks” and an ex journalist. She chose her passion for art and product designing over her journalism career. Overcoming all the odds, she has marked her name in the field of art and designing, re-defining and amalgamating “Art into Utility ”. Over the decade she has believed that “art is the basis of existence” and thus art should be based in every household. Her venture BulBuli-Handcrafted carries her signature style of vivid decor and utility products. Pencrafting and the vibrant bands of joy are prominently seen on her masterdesigns & products. She has been acknowledged and awarded by Indira Gandhi IVF trust for her endeavours as a woman entrepreneur and by Rakhi Kadam Inspiration Award, recognising women entrepreneurs for Bulbuli Handcrafted.
